We are aware that healthy and clean environment is one of the crucial lasting goods for us and future generations. Although environmental concern seems to cause unnecessary costs, investments into environment-friendly production, along with good planning, actually pay off. Since the basic raw material used in our production is wood, our primary concern is its optimal use and consequently reduction of unnecessary clearing of our forests.

Despite careful processing of wood, the results of the production are waste wood, sawdust, and wood dust. Instead of throwing these waste materials into the environment, i.e. leaving them at waste disposal site, we installed a biomass furnace in 1999, where we can burn these materials in an environment-friendly way. The materials we are talking about are mainly wood dust and sawdust. Our next investment into effective use of waste was waste wood crusher and briquetting press, which compresses wood biomass into wood briquettes. By using it, we reduce the quantity of waste and we transform waste into environment-friendly fuel.

Varnishing is also a source of hydrocarbon emissions into the environment. In order to reduce them, we use water-based varnishing for surface treatment of most of our products. Where treatment with solvent-based varnishes is needed, we use advanced jetting technology (electrostatics).
